I am thinking about ordering a Dean Edge Fretless. This is also my first fretless and was wondering what would be would be good. I was thinking Sadowsky.

Thanks

I had a Dean Rhapsody Fretless and La Bella 760FL's worked very well. FWIW, these strings have worked well on most of my fretted basses as well. This set is 43-104, medium tension and very smooth. By the way, Sadowsky's are made by La Bella.

The Dean Edge has a 35" scale, so you'll need extra long strings. I used LaBella "Deep Talkin' Bass" flats on my old Dean Edge 5 and they were the bees knees.
