I am wondering if anyone has tried Elixir Nanoweb strings? I put heavies on my Rick 4003 and I find them very easy to play, but I also have them on all my basses (except for the stock string on my aerodyne, which is new) and I'm wondering if I've lost perspective. I find them very easy to play, but i wonder how they compare - excluding price comparisons - with the favoured strings mentioned here?

If anyone has any side-by-side experience, I'd love to hear it.

I agree with my New York brother. That is what I had to do. I tried buying every string on the planet, basically spent alot of money and always frustrated. Two basses is the way man.

Jazzes sound good with flats too though..... so I guess just get two of every bass and have one with flats and one with rounds

+1 That's exactly what I do.
Don't fight it; work with it.

I have 2 jazzes, one with TI flats and another with chromes. my P bass is wearing boomers at the moment. I just don't care for the jazz with rounds sound as much
