I had a set of roto flats on my 35" scale 6 string BTB. They worked just fine. You might need to trim some of the silk wrap off but not much. If your bass is a string through body I don't think it'll work, but top loading you'll be fine. By the way I had bought a regular 4 string set and then bought the other 2 strings seperate. Not sure if they make a full 6 string set.

Carvin has 6-string flatwound sets:

I've never used them, though, so I can't comment on them.

GHS makes a 6 string set. I have seen them listed on Ebay.

Or, you can buy a 4 string GHS set, and add a C and a B string singly.

I haven't tried many flats but I thought they sounded good. They are much higher tension then rounds, especially the DR Hi-beams I had on before them. They are also brighter then most other flats as well.
Here is a link for a low B

IME, D'Addario Chromes and LaBella are both fairly high tension strings.

Check and see what Jim has at Juststrings.com. He sells a very wide variety of sets and singles.
