Flatwound strings for my Warwick Fretless

Sign in to disble this ad
I have always used roundwounds and I am planning on getting some flatwounds for my fretless Warwick Corvette. I was looking at buying medium gauge fender 9050s, does anyone have an experience with these strings and would anyone suggest anything different?

I used DR Legend Flatwounds. They were quite nice and sat in the mix well but I ended up switching the DR Sunbeams and now I'm hooked. I needed something that could cut through a bit more when needed and jump out from and lead at times. I play hard prog rock.

I can recommend either Sadowsky Black Label flats (the heavier gauge) and the Daddario chromes on the Corvette.
