Flatwounds for Kubicki Ex-Factor

Sign in to disble this ad
Anyone have flats on their Kubicki Ex-Factor? I have DR Flats that don't quite reach on the E/D string. I hear Lakland Joe Osborn flats might just do it.

Anyone, suggestions?

I have a Factor and love playing it BUT r seeking a warmer tone.

I find the kubicki far too hissy and treble like in the studio.

Anyone out there experimented with flatwounds?

Thanks

Martin.

Gee, I would think that any xl length string set would do just fine...
