The Flatwounds lending library idea appears to be dead, Looking for some flats to try

Sign in to disble this ad
Well, the Flatwounds Lending library idea that was initially so well received, got pretty far back in the thread stack and seems to have died a premature death due to lack of interest.

Does anyone have a set of flats I could try on my Jazz Bass. I will consider anything at this point as long as they will fit.

Also willing to trade a set of New in Box Daddario Slowound SW3000 nickel rounds; sizes are: .045 .065 .085 .105 they are the soft/regular-Long scale.

Brian

Man. I thought it was a good idea.

I want/need some new strings. People on here are say, often, they really don't want to play with dead strings so they need to get new ones fairly often.

I have had only one set of strings, the ones that came from the factory. I'm not picky. I would think this too uncommon.

Instead of buying used on ebay/craigslist where they charge $10/string, if the two parties get together, good things were going to happen. But instead the thread got derailed and went in an odd direction.

Maybe we can start over and make a B/S/T strings thread? Expand on the original? There looked to be a good amount of support.
