Good question. There's another string site... bigcitystrings.com... that suggests only the "Jamerson" set should not be used for string through bridges... which sort of makes sense as the gauge is huge, and making the sharp bend over the saddle that string-through requires might be a bit much. But I think that juststrings.com might have lumped all the Labella strings into the "Jamerson" catagory. No good reason the standard gauge DeepTalkin flats won't work... I've been using them on my MIA P-bass for some time now and everything seems happy.

I just put some D'Addario Chromes on mine and they feel amazing. First time with flats. I'll have to wait a while before I hear them plugged in.
