I'm searching for something atleast similar in sound. I switched in some rotosounds for about a month and wasn't really happy so I went back to the old infelds. they're not readily available in my area and I was wondering if anyone knew of a brand with a similar sound.
(i'm looking at picking up some strings tomorrow at GC and want to know opinions) |

If you like TIs, you will have to buy TIs. Why not buy online?

You say you switched out the TIs, they should still be good? They last about a decade.

when I next have some money after my next pedal purchase (either and english Muff'n or 105Q) I plan on ordering a box (six sets) at around $210.
thnx for the help.
p.s. if VBTc (The Dude) ever has them in I plan on buying there. it's just that I usually don't get there until after they're sold out. |

TI's have there own sound and feel.
But GHS flats gauge 40-90 come close.
A little more tension.
But similiar in sound. |

Bright and not thuddy at all. You can slap on them! They sound like round rounds without the ringing top end, and one set lasted me 3 years until I broke one... | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
