Flatwounds on a Warwick Thurmb 5

Hello- I'm interested in putting flatwounds on my Warwick Thumb 5. I've read several postings and am especially curious about the Thomastik flats. I currently have roundwounds on and the B string needs to be tapered to fit at the bridge.

Does anyone know of any issues with flatwounds on a Thumb 5 in regards to the the B string needing to be tapered? Does anyone have any particular recommendations for flatwounds on a Warwick Thumb 5?
