| Fretless Graphite String?

I'm replacing my StingRay5 stock fretted neck with a Moses fretless at 35" scale. It's not my first go round with fretless, but it is with graphite. I'm a stainless steel round wound guy for the fretted 5, but I'm open to a 'different' tone w/fretless. Flats? Maybe... but I still need to cut thru the mix. I'm pumped to get this one off the ground! I like Michael Manring's tone. Gary Willis, too. If you have experience with graphite vs. ebony, please offer string suggestions. Thanx
