My wife went into town the other day so I asked her to pick me up a set of rotosound flat wound 45-105 strings. She came back with roto's but roundwounds, because the sales guy said that they would be cheaper,brighter sounding and I would prefer them.

Amazing!! I'm going to take them back tomorrow and actually shove them up the cheeky f**kers ass!

Haha, never tried flatwounds myself but I can't imagine they sound anything remotely close to roundwounds. Don't you love how the salespeople at these places think all musicians are dumb.
