What kind of strings do you use? going through the body all the way up to the A string ... normal strings don't work to well for that.

I use D'Addario XL extra long scale strings. They are available at no extra cost from your dealer although you may have to special order them. I usually order 2 or 3 sets at a time just for convenience.

what gauge do you use? are they tapper wound? I can't stand those. The heaviest I got over the bridge is 130 although I'm used to using 145 for a B string
