G string out of tune

My G flatwound string is always a bit out of tune. After I 've loosened it for a day or more, it sometimes can back to normal but sometimes cannot. Anybody come across this situation? Any comment. Thanks.

my a won't stay in tune, ever, but that's fine, my bass is always in BEAD, so it's fine. I think that it's just used to the low tuning.

Thats a 34" scale right?

What string guage do you use for that tuning?

I would say you might have too much string around the post, when you change them, the G needs to be about 2.5" longer than the tuning post. Make sure the windings are neat and don't overlap
