I'm getting an Ibanez ICB200 soon and I want to immediately get a new set of strings for it. I'm mostly going to tune it to CGCF, I play with a pick or fingerstyle with tapping mostly, but may try slap/pop later(not a priority now). I want to go for the same sound as Shavo Odadjian (my hero). Any recommended brands/ gauges to use (I'm definately using roundwounds). And while I'm posting I might as well ask... What does "Power slinky," "Regular slinky," and "No slinky" mean (I saw them on an Ernie Ball string package)?
