Has anyone else been having trouble with these guys? I ordered a couple of sets like two months ago. I recently e-mailed them asking about what the hang-up was and still haven't even received a reply. I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing difficulties or not.

There are numerous threads here dealing with their service, or lack of same. I have not dealt with them at all, based on what I've read here. Your experience seems typical, and so, I will continue dealing with others. I have bought strings from www.juststrings.com, www.elderly.com, and the Dude, and all have been smooth, trouble-free transactions.

If you do a search of this forum, maybe with "tuning peg" as your search term, you'll probably find tons of info, unfortunately, none positive.

Avoid them altogether. I had the same problem and it turned out they never processed my order. I go through juststrings.com and they are always fast and reliable.

Yup, you guys are right. Still nothing from them. I emailed them telling them in detail what I thought of them. I'm going through just strings now.
You know, even though I sent a nasty email to them...they STILL haven't replied -- they suck.

Flatwound already mentioned www.JustStrings.com, but I have to point out the great service I've received from them for a couple years now. Not one bad experience and very knowledgable and helpful too.

Another voice to the chorus... not only do they have the most stunning array of strings AND SINGLE STRINGS I have yet found, they actually replied to a compliment I emailed them after an exceptionally speedy delivery -- even that reply was within 18 hours!

I'm outside Chicago, and I swear I got my juststrings order two days after I placed it.

Ok, these guys are good. Ordered a couple of sets Monday Night, got an email saying they had shipped the order out by noon on tuesday - shipped it, within 24 hours. Cool.
Thanks for the suggestion guys, I'm a happy panda now.

I'm going to put in a plug for our very own Herm, who has a lot of strings he's closing out. Very fair prices and quick shipment - plus, you're buying from a fellow TB'er!

A real upstanding guy - at least he was still standing when I saw him at the guitar show Sunday.
