GHS Boomers - Red or black silk wraps?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a 105 set I can't identify, they are either the original Fenders or Boomers, one has red silk only at the top one has black at both top and bottom.

Any ideas?

Red silks on top with no silk at the bottom = GHS Boomers

The Fenders were the original nickels that came on my P. Then I tried Roto Funkmasters, Labella Slappers, DR Sunbeams and GHS Boomers. Somehow I mixed up the sets as I stored them after I took them off, but can easily identify the Rotos and Labellas by the steel and exposed core (DRs are still on the P) but the Boomers/Fenders are the same gauge and metal.
