| I've not used. Chromes, but used the GHS Brite-Flats for a long time (albeit 20 years ago). First, you need to know the Brite-Flats are NOT a flatwound string like the Chromes (and LaBella flats, GHS Precision Flats, etc.) but a modified round like D'Addario Half-Rounds. They're a round wound string with the final wrap ground to a flatter surface
They'll sound more Luke a regular round than the Chromes.
