GHS Brite Flats vs Ken Smith Slick Rounds - which is better IYO?

I want a 5-string half-round set for my G&L L2500 Tribute. I've tried the Brite Flats on an L2000 tribute and they sounded pretty good, though a bit dark. Which has a better B-string? Which is a more balanced set? I've read that the Slick Rounds aren't well balanced - has anyone else experienced this?
