GHS coated boomers

Has anyone tried the new coated Bass Boomers from GHS? While they're not colored like the DR strings, I'm wondering how the coating feels in comparison. I do like the sound of GHS and would love to use them (they're fairly local to me and I do like the sound of the boomers) but I can't pull myself away from how my DR black beauties feel.

I'm curious - I'm recently hooked on regular boomers, though I've not had too much good luck w/ coated strings . . .
