GHS Pressurewounds vs. SIT Silencers

Looking at Pressurewound strings for my new Warwick Corvette $$. I'm used to Chromes on my P-Bass, and really prefer the feel of flats, but this bass is calling for something a bit brighter. Do either of these have more of the slick feel of flats, but a bit brighter? Also, do they last longer than rounds?

I've had Chromes on my Essex P for some time now, and just installed GHS Pressurewounds on my fretless 'Ray4H. To my ears, Chromes have a unique "glassyness" to their tone; high frequency content w/o harmonic overtones.
By contrast, the GHS Pressurewounds have a much more roundwound sound, w/o the round feel. They don't feel as smooth as Chromes, however.

The Pressurewounds are closer in feel to Chromes than the Silencers. The Silencers have more of a roundwound feel & still have some string noise. On a fretless I have, I preferred the Chromes to the Pressurewounds, but you might not. The Pressurewounds seemed somewhat "thumpy" to me, & that wasn't what I was seeking. I can't comment on how long either Silencers or Pressurewounds last.
