GHS Super Steel B string

I found a set of unopened GHS Super Steels (.040-.102) in my gig bag. I'd like to use these on my 5'r. so I'll need to get a single B from Just Strings, I need a B string that's 38" from the ball end to the silk. Does anyone know if the SPR STL long scale B is 38"? or should I get the xtra long scale B? Thanks in advance, H2

H2....I have a 2001 GHS catalog here. According to it the "standard long scale is for 34" scale length. The gauges are 110,121,126,138. The "extra long scale is for 34", 35", and 36" scale lengths. Gauges are 122, 128. It does not mention the winding length. It's an older catalog....but I hope it helps.

Hey Deep, thanks for the info! I also sent a note to JS, and they inturn gave me the 800 # to GHS. Judy @ GHS reasured me that I would need the xtra long .128 B string. Placed my order today.......we'll see what happens.
