Gibson EB3 / EB3L Strings - What are you using?

I've tried a few different strings on a 72 Gibson EB3L (mid pickup), and I'm not quite happy so far - Just trying to see whom out there is using what to get the best out of those basses.

I've used Nickel Lo-Riders and labella Deep Talkin Flats.

The Lo-Riders seemed a little lifeless on that bass, but had a pretty nice grungy tone when digging in which I liked. Basically the bass was edgy, but missing the good old bass thump in the chest.

The Deep Talking flats have a good thump, but the bass is just not "breathing" anymore.

What should I use to get the best out of that bass?

TI Jazz Flats. It'll breathe, thump, cut, and play like butter.
