Gibson SG Reissue bass and D'Addario Chromes

I had a used set of Chromes lying around so I threw them on my shortscale Gibson SG. Wow! It sounds great!

For the Stones, Zeppelin, blues, etc. it really works.

I don't think I would used this combination to play a set of Red Hot Chili Peppers, but for older stuff it sounds perfect.

Anyone else using flats on a Gibson?

I use short scale Rotosound Jazz flats on my Gibson EB-3, very very smooth.
