I tried the TI flats and they sound good but I didn't like the low tension. I use Rotasound Jazz flats now and love 'em.

Currently have Roto black nylon 88s on a USA DLX Jazz 5, and Picato stainless flats on a Tanglewood electro-acoustic (And TI Jazzflats on the '77 Precision).

If I could afford TIs for the Jazz they'd be on ASAP.

Just LOVE the TIs anyway.

The Picatos are really interesting. They have a lovely 'breathy' feel to he sound as fingers rub over them. Turn the top up a bit and they sound great IMHO. They're quite high tension, tho.

For a top choice, TI Jazz flats. No question.

John
