| good drop d strings

i like to play in drop d on my precision and thunderbird. i have roto flats on my precision and they sound good but they flop around a little too much so i also tune it to standard sometimes because the rotos give it a good thump. but my new used thunderbird(previous owner George Reiff who plays often with the charlie sexton band) has rounds of unknown type and they sound good so im going to stick with rounds and was just wondering which strings are good for drop D. |
