good Half rounds for a passive H?

Sign in to disble this ad
Im setting up a 2nd bass for some streetpunk project im doing. I got my Laguna LB224 thats a passive H. After the setup on the bass Im not loving the finger noise with the rounds that came with the bass, I dont think flats are gonna cut it for oi or punk, however I use roto 77s on my ibanez for my other stuff and I like the feel and no finger noise. So I been reading and it seems halfs or ground rounds are the best medium. What would be a good set that have a decent "punk" sound without all the finger noise?

I just picked up a set of D'Addario half-rounds and absolutely love 'em. Fat, fat, fat tone, and the growl is still there (just remember to boost your mids a bit).
