good metal strings

i have 3 fenders strung with roto flats and i love them and i am just getting a gibson thuderbird and i want to know what some good string suggestions both flat and round i hear nickel are good and am using stainless now.

I use the stainless steel lowriders, but I also like GHS Flatwounds.

D'Addario's are great on my jazz bass, but I use Fender taperwounds on my Conklin, and Ernie Balls on my P-bass. So, I am all over the board. I haven't found a set of GHS that I like yet, though.
