Good String For Slap...

Greetings, i am in the market for a new set of strings. I currently have a fender jazz w/ TI flats which i do like, however, they are not the best for the occasional slap. I am not a die hard funk player but I would like to get a nice clean pop when i choose to throw one in. I feel the TI flats are a little to "floppy" and don't have enough bounce.
I do love the warm tone from the TI's though.

Any suggestions?

I really like the tone of Dean Markley "Blue Steel" round wounds for slap. They have a nice bright "piano" like tone. Although lately, I have been using the Ernie Balll coated super-slinkys. They still have a good tone and the brightness lasts longer than regular strings.
