Unhappy Good strings for my Spector Euro 6LX

Hey Spector guys help me out, tried a pack of med to light D'Addario's and the B was too wide for the bridge slot, also the G wouldn't fit the brass nut slot. The bass came with taper wound strings and I really dont like those. Any help from Spector owners would be appreciated.

I use Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky (orange package) for both my Euro 4 LX. They sound great standard tuned and down-tuned.
I've tried just about everything and I like those EB's the best.

Really? I always break the G in those so I stopped buying them years ago, maybe they've beefed up things a little with the quality. I'll check 'em out.
