What are good strings that dont flop too much in low B(BEAD) or are all strings the same? I have been using daddario Half flats but I fell like changing it up a bit on my new bass Im getting this Saturday. Its 34 scale

Try a forum search for "downtuning". It's a popular topic in the strings forum.

Check out DR DDTs.

On a 34" scale bass, I would go with Circle K Strings

4 String Set - Balanced Standard 136
CKS-136S4B
.136 .100 .076 .058

I generally use DR, GHS and D'Addario strings... anything works for drop tuning. Though for more 'umph' Earnie Balls are hella bright and seem to resonate rather well with drop tuning.

I'm rare in that i DON'T like heavy gague even when i tune low... even (on a 4 string) going C standard i never go higher than 50-110... usually i'll run 45-105 just fine... I hate thick strings.
