Got some Jonas Hellborgs on the way......

Along with some Sunbeams, I've never tried either before but I'm pretty excited. I got a Squire Vm fretless with Dimarzio Model J's and some really dead prosteels.
What should I put on first?

I really dig the Sunbeams, and I've tried the Hellborgs once. The Hellborgs sounded great, but I wish they came 45-105 or even 45-100. I don't care for the lighter G and D strings, and the set, overall, wasn't so much better than the Sunbeams that I was willing to make the compromise. This is splitting hairs a bit, of course, as they're both quality string sets.

No opinion as to which you should put on first.

I don't think the Hellborgs lend themselves to fretless much, as they're a VERY coarse feeling string and I have a feeling that it might interfere with the smooth tone everyone enjoys on a fretless bass. Now, *I could be dead wrong,* so feel free to experiment and let us know what you come up with.

I'm certain you will LOVE the Sunbeams, however.

Yeah the Hellborgs are kind of small arent they. Yeah I think I'll go with the Sunbeams first.
