This one made me chuckle. I recently purchased some Dean Markley SR2000 strings for my Conklin GTBT-7. Wasn't terribly impressed with them and won't be buying them again as they don't even compare to the Conklin Snakeskins.
Anyhow, I did a review at MF (the first and only review for these strings). Gave them an overall rating of 3.5. Today my review was posted. It seems, in order to offset my very average rating of the strings, MF made up 6 other reviews (which it says the strings have but can't be seen) in order to keep the overall rating at 5 stars.
Anyhow, just thought it worth pointing out since I recently saw somewhere, maybe on one of their catalogs, about MF having unbiased user ratings. Seems they think the user ratings are worth bringing attention to but they're also not above skewing the ratings with non-existent points in order to push product.
