A Great combination

I just put Fender 9120 Strings on my G&L L2000 Tribute , and they sound great. I didn't mind the stock round wounds that it came with, but I picked up a used Trace Elliot 2x10 combo, and it is a little bright sounding , So to soften things up I Replaced my nickel round wounds with the fender nylon's
What a great combination. Now I don't have to push the equalizer to get that mellow tone. Don't get me wrong, I love the Trace amp, but the strings made it sound so much better.
