I recently strung up a set of Pyramid Flats on my Precision Bass, and the E string popped and unraveled right at the peg. The winding was about 1" too long, and went up over the peg, and it gave out.
One email to Max Junger (I guess the head guy at Pyramid), and he quickly knew what the problem was. He specially wound a string that was 1" shorter on the winding, and sent it out to me from Germany Thursday--I got it today.
