Personally I'm interested in a strong bass/mid-bass and treble response.
Forgot to add D'addario Half Rounds (and for a good reason
)

D'addario halfs. I honestly dont see why you wouldnt include them. I'd take them any day over a few that are on your list.

I like the halfs because they are pretty bright but not quite as biting as steels. Good price too.
