Growly strings for Warwick Thumb BO Fretless

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey there, I'm looking for a string that's really growly and big sounding for my warwick thumb BO fretless 4 string. I have strong hands, I don't care about tension, they can be the thickest strings on earth. Thanks. The sound I'm going for is really growly and big sounding as if I just dropped a big one.

Rotosounds were pretty decent in bring out the aggressive bite of my Corvette.

I'm digging the GHS Progressives on my 'vette currently. Deep, low end with a lot of that signature growl that Warwick has shining through.

Sunbeams, it's all about the midrange.

A set of GHS Boomers gets me all the growl I can handle out my 'vette.

The cool thing about GHS Boomers is that they lose all brightness within seconds of touching them and have settled in. Compare 2 week old Boomers with 10 year old DR or La Bella rounds and you can't tell a difference.
