Guild Strings

I'm new here and I have a question.
What ever happened to Guild bass strings?

I used to have sets of 'Ground Round Wound' strings.
I happened to like them and was wondering why nobody picked-up
on a great idea.Is there a manufacture that makes a string close to these?Roto's are not close.Just wondering.

It's been awhile since I used anything except rotos or nylon taped,
and I was wondering about them after talking to a friend about
strings the other day.
