half rounds

Does any one play with these on the bass? I'm thinking of getting rid of the flats (fender flats) on my P bass and I know what the rounds sound like so I'm curious about the halfs. How do they feel?

Used D' Addario Halfrounds and Ghs Pressure wounds on my fretless. both are warmer than rounds and brighter than flats the feel takes a bit of getting used to but you really got to try them I loved them for ten years recently switched to rounds for the extra punch
