Question Halfrounds for Longhorns please?

Sign in to disble this ad
It's a brand new Danelectro Longhorn bass model which has rounds fitted with the new style guitar tuners. I can't find out the gauge used on them, the length doesn't matter because they're cut. In fact there is very little info available on the new models at all.
(edit)
OK I compared them with some strings I have and they're very near 45-105. Only thing -the E isn't taperwound at the bridge but it is at the tuner, because it is a guitar tuner.

You know I bet Hofner flats would be great on a long horn.

D'Addario Chromes, in short-scale, baby!! Tone for days!

Actually, D'Addario Nickel Roundwounds work nicely as well... I'm just pimpin' the flats lately
