Anyone know what the handmade golden string that used by John Entwistle? What brand is it? Where can I get it?
and any other golden string there?

Randy Jackson Signature Dean Markleys, also expensive, or
DR Mellow Yellow Coated strings, not gold, but the colour is almost the same.

I think they discontinued the Maxima Golds. I tried to get some, but juststrings.com just sold out.
Yeah, the alchemy strings seem to be the closest.

They are Optima now, you can get them around.

Might be better to get them off the 'Bay, since JustStrings.com's ones are incredibly pricey.
