Question Hard rock strings

Hey, Im looking to put new strings on a MIM P bass, it has vintage p bass pick ups... And Im looking for strings for hard rock type music. Since ive only been playin about a year, i dont know that much about strings. So please, help me out. Thanks

I just put Dunlop Stainless Steel 45-105 medium gauge string on my P Bass and the are awesome. This is the first time I tried them and I'm really impressed. They remine of the old Lebella strings that I played on back in the 60 and 70. They were not expensive just around 20.00 buck. Check out the web site (jimdunlop.com)
