I just bought my first set of Labella's for my Lakland JO5. I was excited to check them out. Bought them from juststrings.com. I started with the B string. Started to tune it and "SNAP" it broke at the bridge! It was not even tuned yet. I'm too bummed out to swap the rest. Is this what I should suspect. Do I call LAbella tomorrow and ask for a new B string? Juststrings does not sell a single B in extralong. This bites

This definetly shouldn't happen. I'd call the string manufacturer, and if that doesn't work call juststrings.

Steels are usually stronger than nickel. I use Steels, and they last about 2 months longer than the nickles that I used to use.

I just called Labella and they said they are going to send me a new B string this week. I can't ask for anything more I hope this one works out. Thanks Labella

Just an update for anyone that cares.

A new string arrived in the mail 5 days from the day I called. I think that is pretty great. Thanks Labella

Glad you lucked out on you CS query. LaBella never sent me my replacement after 2 months of me calling and emailing.
