Hartke Xlight Strings for 5'er

Sign in to disble this ad
Can anyone help me find these bass strings? They seem to have been discontinued and I was hoping some sellers may still have stock. I searched the net but could not find them - I may not have done a "deep" enough search.

The part #: HSB 540 3P

Thanks!

I couldn't find them either. This set of Prosteels are the same gauges and are very good quality. You pay a little more, but they sound better IMHO, and last longer (I've used both).

Thanks for the info! I had a problem with the length of D'D's the last time I bought a twin pack (long scale) for my Cirrus.
If I remember correctly the tapering started to early at the tuner end. I found the Hartke's just perfect for my basses and playing style not to mention how inexpensive they are (where). I guess its time for a change so I may try the ones you suggested.

Cheers!

They do make extra long versions if the other D'Addarios didn't work. You might want to check and see.

The Hartke Xlight 5's are my favorite strings too. I have 4 sets left, I need to go to the shops in Orlando and see if they have any left
