Question Headless strings

When it comes to restringing(spelling?) a headless, do you absolutely need doubled balled (HAR HAR) strings or does that aspect very on the bridge and bass itself?

Depends on the bass and the construction of the head piece. Some need the double ball strings, but there are adaptors you can get to use regular strings. Others have clamping systems built in the design.
