Hey everyone,
I've just recently switched to D'Addario ProSteel Heavy (110-55) and am loving it!!! I actually rigged up a set for my 5 so it's 130-55.
Anyone else out there trippin' on the tow ropes too?

Well, not yet. I will be getting a DR LoRider 50-110-set with a separate D'Addario .145 to tune down a step.

I use 50-110, but I tune CGCF.

I've been using Ernie Ball Power Slinkies on my Jazz Bass for rock / heavy rock. They are nickel round wounds, 55-75-90-110. I play in standard tuning. I like nice tight strings. These are doing the trick for me and I like the way they sound, especially when I really dig in and play hard. They sound huge.

I use GHS Boomers 55-115 tuned 1/2 step down. Sounds nice and fat.

Just threw a set of DA ProSteels 50-70-85-105 on my P bass. I got used to the high tension playing flats and now typical rounds feel flimsy. I really like the 50 and 70.
