which heavy?

so ive been tuning down alot recently, and i need heavy srtings so there not floppy. however, idk what to go with

i was thinking drs but i always wanted to try elixers.

dr has 2 heavy strings(according to mf) hi beams and lo riders

sooo what do you fellers recommend?

Go with the 55-110 set.

...not to further confuse you but the DR Fat Beams are my personal preference with the Hi Beams in 2nd place and the Lo Riders in 3rd.

I just put a set of KnuckleHead strings (50-110) on my old Ibanez TR200 I picked up on eBay recently. They sound real thick and punchy. I use standard tuning but I think these would work great tuned down. These strings are worth buying just for the hysterical white trash packaging!

I'd suggest the low strings from a 5 string set - you'll need a replacement nut.
