Heavy flats Rotosound or Labella for mim P

Sign in to disble this ad
I,m thinking of getting some heavy gauge flays for my mim P and cant decide between the roto rs77le or the labella 760m.There about the same gauge but wich one has more tension amd what,s the diference in tone. I.m currently sporting Roto 77ld on the bass and like them alot. My only experience with labella was 760fl. What set do you lot think I should go for?

Is there a reason you want heavy flats? I have found lighter gauge flats work for me and is much better on my basses necks and playability.

What tone are you after? Rotos have more growl to them, better rock tone IMO. La Bellas have more thump, better for Motown or blues IMO.
