Heavy Gauge Bass Strings, help please.

Help! I have been using GHS Boomers 50 - 115 gauge for the last 10 years. I love the sound and feel of them and they have worked well on my Fenders and Epi's. I have recently purchased an Ibanez Artcore bass and it has a longer scale. These strings will not fit and they do not make them in a longer scale. Does anybody know of any other company that makes strings of this gauge in a longer scale?

Thank you in advance.

Try DR's, they have several different sizing options, and i think they sound fantastic! here'a link to their sizing options (bass strings are at the bottom of the page)

Being that your new bass has a longer scale, wouldn't a lighter gauge of the same brand (boomers) give you a similar feel and sound of your other basses?

That certainly sounds like a good idea. Please forgive my ignorance, but will the tone be the same as the thicker strings or does it matter?
