Question Help with bass strings

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi Everybody, this is my first post and i need some help.
So i have these strings on my bass and i have no idea what company makes them or what they are called. Conveniently they are my favorite bass strings I've ever used. Unfortunately its way past time for them to come off. They've been on something like 5 months which is totally outrageous for me seeing as i normally would break a set after a month or two depending on the strings. I've been searching on the web and music stores for quite some time to see if packaging would jog my memory but so far to no avail. so im calling some back up. Circumstances during the time when these strings were put on prevent me from recalling the name and packaging. I would go back to the store i bought them from but they were having a going out of business sale and have since left the local market(I miss about music so much). I got them for cheap ($10 i think but the original price was around $25). I do remember the back saying something about being made to cut through a metal mix easier. The cloth is orange at the headstock and blue at the bridge. The Rings at the bridge are brass and I'm pretty sure their nickel strings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

You could contact the bass manufacturer and ask (or just surf their website).

There are only a handful of factories that make strings ... they then go out and different companies put their labels on them.

Pardon me if I'm confused but are you saying all strings are the same?
