I dont know if this belongs here but anyway.... I bought some dr tappered strings like a month ago, i only bought them because I was in a hurry and those were the only dr strings they had at guitar center. ok, so I put them and some days later I noticed that in some strings (mostly on D string) there is like an extra sound when i pla, like an harmonic or something.... the guy at guitar center told me I might need to set my bass up but I kind of did and it is still there... is this because the strings are tappered or could there be another reason? I would just change the strings but I do like the sound of them in my bass
